Experiencing the arrival of the cranes at dawn is truly something special. In the early morning light, as the landscape slowly awakens and the powerful calls of the cranes fill the air, you are invited to witness one of spring’s most magnificent natural phenomena at Lake Hornborga. Together with the knowledgeable and engaging guide Anki from FalbygdsTurism, you will experience this unique spectacle up close.
You make your own way to the hill at Bjurum at 6:00 AM, where Anki will meet you. From there, you walk together down to Trandansen, right in the heart of the dramatic plateau mountain landscape. During the tour, Anki shares fascinating stories about the cranes’ lives, the surrounding nature, and the area’s rich history.
After the tour, you return to the castle on your own to continue the day with a delightful castle breakfast.
